To promote equity in participation, AHOA does not demand any compulsory financial/material commitment from organizations/entities to become members. Intending members are only required to complete a membership/partnership form, and an institutional capacity needs assessment form. Members/Partners do not pay registration/membership fees, dues, or levies. To sustain the organization, members may be requested to make voluntary donations and serve/participate voluntarily in the activities of the Network, from time to time. AHOA also benefits from grants, endowments, waivers, subventions, awards, bursaries, contributions, donations, etc. from within and outside the Network.  

As a part of its chosen commitments/obligations as a United Nations ECOSOC consultative Network, the Afrihealth Optonet Association (AHOA) intends to provide financial and material support to the less privileged members of the Society. This shall be in the fulfillment of one of the registered constitutional objectives of AHOA namely: To intervene and or cooperate with other persons/organizations whenever appropriate, to attain and/or sustain the health and development of the society and its inhabitants.

Towards achieving the above objective, we are appealing to you and soliciting for your financial and material contributions from active and supportive members/partners of AHOA to make this possible. We need your help and humbly request you to kindly consider donating to this noble cause. We’ll reach out significantly to as many indigent homes/persons as your donations will carry us. Soon, we intend to reach out to as many homes/organizations/people as possible in the several countries where AHOA has members/partners.

We are focusing on the following Homes/populations:

1.       Orphans

2.       Motherless children

3.       Out-of-school children

4.       Widows

5.       Victims of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG)

6.       Street Children

7.       Homeless persons

8.       Old People/Elderly 

9.    Victims of disasters

9.       Al-Ansar Children’s Home, Pasali, Abuja.

With your anticipated donations, we intend to have our first charity/humanitarian outreach(es) during this yuletide season. Our budget is Ten Million Naira (N10,000,000.00) only. Please respond to this important humanitarian call to duty. 

On our honour, we’ll appreciate every donation. No amount of cash/money or in-kind/material is too small to be donated/received/acknowledged. Every donation shall be acknowledged and accounted for, the list of the donors shall be published (unless the donor seeks to be anonymous), and all donors shall be informed of when and where the outreach(es) shall be made, as it’ll be great to have them as part of the AHOA team to deliver their generosity. Every Cent shall count, every Naira counts.
