         Posting/Messaging Guidelines for AHOA's Groups and WhatsApp Platforms

 As previously communicated to the members of this AHOA Project Platform:

1. If your post on this platform requires any reader(s) to provide their personal or organizational information, share, comment, click on any link, and or respond to your post/message;  please provide details of yourself, your organization, and purpose/use of the information being requested from Platform members/readers as part of your message. Also, ensure that you/your organization has completed the AHOA members/partners Google form(s). See No. 2 below.

2. AHOA members/partners Google form(s):

Only persons/organizations that have duly completed the AHOA Members/Partners Google form(s) – see below, may post messages/links requiring members of any AHOA's platform/group to submit their personal information, click on unexplained links/groups or complete any form requiring their personal information (e.g. names, sex, age, email, organization, country/address, etc.), for whatever reason/purpose.

3. If your post directly or indirectly contains any solicitation or request/requirement for any payment by the reader, please get written approval from the Admin of this platform before you post such a message here; 

4. Please do not post voice messages in this group/platform; 

5. Share/post only messages that speak to the focus and activities of this platform; 

6. Don't share or post any link without first explaining what it is all about so that members can make informed decisions about the focus/content/activities of the link before clicking on it; 

7. Don't post or share any message that directly or indirectly solicits funds, except with the prior written approval of the Admin of this platform; 

8. Exit from this Platform if it's a geographic Platform and you're NOT from the geographic/regional entity of its focus (join your own regional/subregion/geographic Platform and help make it grow); 

9. Do not post/share more than 5 photos of any event; 

10. Continue to be civil and maintain decorum while expressing yourself on any issues; 

11. Note that your post or number may be deleted or exited from this platform without another advance notice if your activity/posting/message contravenes any of these guidelines; 

12. If your WhatsApp group is set for "only Admin" to post messages, do not advertise it here asking people to join/click. 

13. If you're joining any AHOA Country or Sub-regional WhatsApp Group, use only WhatsApp numbers with the exact Country Code(s) for the Country or/and Subregion you want to join; 

14. If your posting/message requires the payment of fees/costs by people/organizations, etc. to participate in the event/activity/programme, please contact the AHOA Secretariat before posting the message/announcement, and/to pay the equivalent of one registration fee/participation cost to AFRIHEALTH, before posting the message/advertisement here; 

15. Kindly be reminded that AHOA's geographic platforms/groups (e.g. India, Europe, etc.) remain restricted groups. Don't seek/join any Group/Platform if the country code of your WhatsApp number is not for/within the respective geographic region/entity. The moment you are rejected for contravening this, the system may automatically reject you in some/all other AHOA groups/platforms;

16. If you/your organization is asking for competition votes/support/nominations/signatures in this AHOA Group/Platform, ensure that: 

a. Your organization had duly registered as a member of AHOA at least 3 months before (see registration Google form link in no. 2 above); 

b. You had previously introduced yourself/your organization in the platform at least 3 months before; 

c. You had actively participated in AHOA's previous projects/activities (e.g. Facilitation Teams, WADs, '16 Days’, conferences, workshops, etc.);  

d. You have included in your posting, a written justification on why you/your organization merits to be supported/nominated/voted for in the instance; 

17. This is not a fundraising platform. Do not post any message here soliciting for finding of any type of for any purpose, without the prior written approval of the Platform's Admin.

18. Your post/message and or you may be removed from this platform without any further notice if it/they/you do not follow the guidelines posted in this message.
